Hello

Hi, I’m Claire - passionate about strength training that supports us real life, trail/fell running enthusiast, dog mum, and chocolate addict. (Life is about balance after all).

I’m a Level 3 Personal Trainer and an England Athletics Leader in Running Fitness. I coach clients both in-person and online, and I lead a weekly trail running group where the focus is on community and enjoying the outdoors - not pace, PBs, or Strava segments.

Most days, you’ll find me in the gym or out on the trails with my dog, Ted - lifting, running, or just soaking in the hills.

My Story

Exercise has always played a big role in my life - from dancing as a child into my teens, to playing netball throughout school and well into adulthood.

Then in my late 20s, I found strength training - and I was hooked.
By my 30s, I discovered something I never expected: a love for trail running!

In my early 40s, peri-menopause hit me harder than I ever expected.
Depression. Anxiety. Overwhelm. Intrusive thoughts. Isolation. Crushing exhaustion. Joint pain. Tinnitus. I wasn't myself, I had to take time off work. It hit hard.

After months of trying to battle through, eventually I found a GP who listened, understood and prescribed HRT. It gave me part of my life back but what also helped me through was the time I dedicated to myself - lifting weights, moving and nourishing my body, being out on walks and runs in the hills.

A couple of years down the line, I knew I needed to use my lived experience to help women rebuild trust in their bodies, their strength, and themselves.
My coaching comes from a place of knowing - not theory.

Life can get heavy. But with the right tools, you can get stronger.
And I’ll be here to help you every step of the way.
